A high-volume shoot for the whole group.
A pheasant tower shoot at Three Pines Preserve is a high-volume shoot, perfect for entertaining multiple guests or a corporate outing. Participants — in pairs — occupy one of 12 stations arranged in a circle roughly 75 yards from our wooded release tower, with blinds about 25 yards apart.
When the signal is given from the tower, birds are released and shooters work to take the high-flying pheasants as they escape to the surrounding preserve. Shooting pairs rotate after each series of releases so everyone shoots from every blind. Tower shoots last about three hours and conclude with lunch back at the main camp.
